04 Feb Life Update & African Prints
Did anyone else feel like they wanted to cancel January and just start all over in February?! Because ya girl was over January like 10 days in. Lol
January for me was a lot of planning and getting overwhelmed and planning again and getting overwhelmed again. Ugh!
I went to Lagos for some work & then for a campus Leaders’ conference for my church which I would say was orchestrated by God because I got a renewed sense of purpose and it was amazing!
At the end, the most unexpected thing happened! Let’s just say somebody was anointed. 😫
One of the most important things I heard & learnt in January was
1. Time is for achieving purpose, anyone that is not using time to achieve their purpose is wasting time.
2. To Live because of God for others.
My life is not just for me; God put me here for others; my life is about making a real impact & touching lives.
These have resonated within me ever since!
And then, I needed a break from this social media life to cool off & really grasp the new things in my life. Now it’s back to regular blogging and Instagramming as much as I can because my life just got even busier and I cannot come and kill myself, lol! But I’ve got this!
For this look, we have something printastic! African prints on African prints! This is something I’ve wanted to try for a while and I love it! Definitely would be wearing more African prints this year!
I styled this with a beret like in this post because yass I’m all here for the beret trend; white heeled sandals and my fav white mini bag and some gold accessories!
For this African print style; I’d say choose two different prints with a common color in both.
