The White Shirt Series: Layered Up
These days, I’m wary about posting style blogs these days. As much as I love fashion and styling clothes, is it really the kind of value I wanna be adding? I should be adding? Is it even value? What is even value? These are the issues my friends, these are my current thoughts. I’m trying to restructure the way that my blogs will be. You will always find style and creativity and inspiration here but I crave for more, you know. I’m praying and getting ideas and figuring it out. But in the main time, I’ll dish out the backlog of style content I’ve created.
Remember the first white shirt series post here? On this one, your girl layered up!
I channeled some of my classy, fashionista, working girl energy! I added a layer with my one and only checkered wrap top (as seen here). I also decided to keep this look monotone, so i wore my faded black jeans and finished it up with my easy wear Zara shoes. This is your stylish working girl look and i love it! I particularly like the subtle drama that the sleeve of the wrap top added to the look, don’t you?
- For more on how to style wrap tops, here
- Layering is a simple way to look more stylish if done right. When layering your white shirt, let some of the sleeve peek through whatever the top layer is. In my case, i used a wrap top.
- You can always switch up the wrap up for whatever you like e.g blazer, bomber jacket, denim jacket, kimono, etc.
What do you think of this look? Something you would wear? Let me know in the comments! And until next time…
